George Griffin

George Griffin is a member of the Accident Investigation team and Mentor Team Leader for American Airlines. He is also a member of the Checkmate committee for APA.

George flew contract UPS freight before coming to American Airlines in 1986. While at American Airlines George has flown FE/FO on the 727 and FO on the DC-10. He has flown CA on the S-80 and since 2001 has been flying CA on the 757/767. He worked as an Assistant Chief Pilot from 2002-2005 and is currently a 767 Check Airman / APD. George graduated from Parks College of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics.
